Welcome to Golf East!
The Golf East Property Owners Association is on the north side of Lake Trace and consists of 82 lots, most of which are developed. The homes in Golf East are in a variety of settings, including lakefront, along the Creek Golf Course, or on interior lots in wooded areas. The terrain in our community is generally sloped from the front entrance toward the lake. Wedgewood Drive is the main roadway winding through the community, and smaller side roads include Duffers Lane, Putters Circle, Captain's Point, and Par Circle (map).
Golf East is part of the larger Carolina Trace community (website), which includes 18 Property Owners Associations (map). Entrance to Carolina Trace for persons without an electronic gate pass is through the main gate on NC-87; use the address '6300 NC-87, Sanford, NC' on a GPS device.
